• 125 singles + finals for top six
• Sunday August 22:
• 75 pair of Doubles with 25 pair final
• "Flash" targets will be used for the finals.
• Added money totalling $600.00 provided by MTA
• A dinner on Saturday night.

Grand Alternative ATA Trap shoot: This weekend

• Event 3: 100 - 16 yard singles
• Event 4: 200 - handicap "Bower Memorial Handicap"

• Shooting will be Wednesday nights (4:30 to dusk) and Sunday 10:00 am to 1:00pm ONLY.
• Need to purchae your tickects in advance.
• Cost $65.00 includes wind-up dinner.

• Manitoba Provincial Skeet Championship
• Thursday; Aug 5 (evening); has been added as a shooting day for those who can't commit a full weekend
• Saturday Aug 7 and Sunday Aug 8 (10 am to 3pm).
• There is now a Limited category...only 50 targets/ any and all gauges instead of the 100 previously required. The Open class will still be based upon 100 targets.
• Thursday any event can be shot, if enough people are available to squad.
• Cost is $15.00/50 targets.

Annual Doubles Marathon this weekend

International (Bunker) Trap shoot this weekend

This fun shoot will test the equipment with White Flyer targets as part of the on-going preparation for the Canadian Nationals in August:

• Saturday 125 singles: $35.00
• Sunday 75 pairs doubles: $35.00
• Monday 125 singles: $35.00
• International ammunition not required

Bunny Shoot to run Sunday, April 11

The weather may have saved the Easter Bunny, but there are plenty of his brethren still hopping about! We'll be running the bunny shoot this sunday in the same format as previously planned:

• 3 rounds of 25 rabbits
• 5 stations
• Additional 50/50 rabbit shoot
• Ham and pancake brunch included
• Cost: $25

Registration begins at 9:00 AM, shooting begins at 10:00 AM. Brunch will be served from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM

Easter Bunny Shoot Canceled due to weather!

On Saturday March the 6th, a major snow clearing effort was undertaken at the Winnipeg Trap and Skeet Club. With the quality work put forward by John Jones and his skid steer the parking lot was cleared and the paths to trap field 4 and skeet field 1 opened. Paul Moorby used his own snow blower to clear the skeet field and I shoveled the trap field by hand. Stan Orr was on hand for moral support/advice/story telling and cooking some awesome hogit and bison steaks that John provided. There were 54 rounds shot on the next day (Sunday), but I think the real fun was the day before. Thanks to those who helped clear the club, your volunteer efforts and points are noted.

John and his family make a considerable number of shooters and strong supporters the WTSC.

Club Open for Spring

Beginning March 7 the club will be open on Sundays, 11.00am to 3.00pm weather permitting. The club will begin normal hours of operation April 5 (Tuesday, Thursday 4:30 til dusk and Sunday 10:30 to 4:00 (last tickets sold at 3:15)).
